Coaches,
My head coach wants us to teach the front side to double down and kick out on the front side on our off tackle play. I would like to teach the backside to use combo's in order to clean up the Trash (backside run through from blitzes and stunts). First question is do any of you coaches teach this scheme? If you do then what rules to do you teach your lineman that are easy to remember?
I am wanting any OL that is not pulling, releasing etc. to combo up to a backer. I basically want to use coach Campbell's idea of using combos on all plays wheather it be a veer option, power play or whatever. Can anyone recommend an easy way to teach this to the kids?
