Coach,
We will either use BOB protection or Reach Hinge for all our pass protections. When we use BOB on playaction we tell our linemen to fire out with an agressive first step to help sell the run.
We BOB it. It is the same scheme as we use for our drop back game. The only difference is we teach to fire out make contact then sink their hips into a good pass pro stance. It is essential they come out and don't stand right up. If they do, they will tip off a well trained db.
Our pass off our g-scheme bell play we will go ahead and g-block with the fb filling the gap. The guard pulls and seals the eol. We run this to the te side and the te blocks man-on for a max protection. The TB continues on option path. With the te blocking most safeties will bite up on run support.
