I am sure this has been covered before but what is a good set of complimentary plays to a SB Veer offense? Other than the usual Load Option, Counter Option, Counter Dive, IV, Speed Option, Trap Option
Inside & Outside Zone
Power
Trap
Crossbuck

Not sure what most of you call it but I really like a double option. Hand the ball to one of the backs and have the other back stay in a pitch relationship.
A great complimentary play to the "Split Back Veer" is the inside "Belly" or double dive play (historically one of my favorites). Your playside HB dives straight ahead off the hip of the guard and is either the faker or ballcarrier with a long ride by the QB. The second back steps laterally toward the playside HB, then drives off that foot to the same side (playside) off the outside hip of the tackle. He is either faking this path or he is your ballcarrier if you faked the first back. You can also fake to both and run a "Belly Keeper" around the end.
Great play with tons of blocking possibilities and complimentary plays.
Another great play is weakside "Lead Fan" which is a simple iso play with the playside back as your lead blocker. The PST fans out on the DE in a 40 look. Against a 50 look, the PSG fans to the DT and the PST fans to the DE. It's a pretty effective and easy to execute weakside run.
