I've been busy for a while with summer grad classes and such so I haven't had time to post in a while, but with football approaching, I was having a meeting with our DC and we were trying to come up with new tackling drills. We keep coming up with all the same old ones. If anyone can think of a new tackling drill or thinks they have an innovative tackling drill, post it. I'd love to hear any ideas. Thanks.

you may need 5 bags 2 cones
2 lb a Safety One QB a Fullback a Tailback
A central bag like a center on each side 2 bags separate bY 2 yards and at 8 yds from the last one a cone.
Your LB are in front of the guard bag at 2 yds depth and at 8 yds facing the center bag you have uor safety
The coach or the QB indictae in between wich bag or inside wich cone the 2 running backs are suppose to go
The purpose is to make your lb React and for the one on the side of the run attack the outside shoulder of the blocker to make the ball carrier go inside and be tackle by the other lb or the safety
The 2 runnings are not oblige to go the same way, you can have a dive and iso a pitch a fake dive option etc...
It's easy to make and to understand when it's on the field
The good thing is to make your LB play together, you can do it with no safety!
