Coaches
I am the head junior varsity coach at my school. We run the I with zone blocking principles, we also run out of the 2 back gun and the single back gun, and also the power I. We have played three games and have won all three. Everybody we have played ran an 4-4 sit and read defense. We have destroyed these teams. In 3 games we have scored 90 points and gave up 6. our next game is against the best team around. They run a 4-4 but what they do is make a louie or roger call and run a line twist with a outside backer blitz. I am thinking about going the first couple of plays and seeing how they play. then let my qb audible and switch the play the opposite way. anybody have any other suggestions.
