JD - Rita went up above us so we are nopw home after enduring much traffic. Hope the season is going OK, I look forward to getting back to normal now. Coach CAmpbell
coach,
we don't take anyone off except for our QB, and we could just switch him with our Punter. He's also a WR. We are a spread option team that never has a TE, so it's just a variation of our base off. It's VERY easy to teach.
Coach,
sorry for the delay, but w/ guys that would play TE, we either make tackles or FBs out of them. Our theory being that we'll put our best blockers at C and OG and fast/quick guys who can get on LBs as our OTs. We have very few plays where the OT has to block the DT man on man, more often than not we are dbl teaming or somehow getting to the LB. the exception to this is in passing, which we did more of this year than I would have liked. In pass pro our ot's are responsible for man on or BGap, depending on the defense. If man on, they are in BOB protection. If B gap, they cut anyone comnig into their gap. By the way, we had our 1st punt blocked in the last game of the year, but all in all, we had a GREAT special teams year with 8 blocked kicks v. only 1 blocked over 10 games.
