Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
We have been playing with a cover 2 where the safeties have flat and corners have deep half. What are your rules for the SS when there is a TE and wideout (pro formation), twins, or just one TE on his side? Thanks
We play a lot of cover 1 and 0. We are never deeper than 6 off the receiver, and are often times playing tight.
When in cover 2. We will start them out tight to the los, then the corners bail pre-snap.
I have not done it yet, but I am doing some research on putting in cover 4, which sounds similar to your cover 2 with the safeties in the flats and playing force.
