Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
I played football and baseball in high school and went on to play four years of college baseball; I am currently a college baseball assistant coach. I am still in my early 20s and I'm looking to change careers and coach football. I love the game of football and I am wondering where I should get started in the football coaching field. I plan to move up the ladder as my coaching abilities warrant but I wonder if my career could have a limit since I played baseball in college and not football.
As far as resources go I have found this forum to be a great place, and I have read books like the AFCA guide as well as Coverdale's offensive book and the AFCA website articles and also some Urban Meyer and Nick Saban material from a Nike coaching clinic. I'm trying to learn as much as possible from the real experts of the game. If you have any advice in this regard, or any other advice at all I'd be grateful.
PreSnap you may take this man to heart, he will do whatever he can to not only help but nurture you
during the early years. I owe Coach Campbell a debt that I hope to repay over the next few years as a
young coach. If you love the game like I'm sure you do stay in contact with him, he is one of a kind, not
only with his knowledge of the game but most important the way a class football program should be built.
Programs are built with loyal staffs like his who sometime have to make descions that people fail to or
simply ignore as the truth. Trust me he could have a job in any part of the country but has chosen to come here to develop deep roots with the community and his players. There are many coaches whom would never give young coaches the time of day, he is the real deal and I learned two or three hard love lessons from him this very week. GO VIPERS! CYFL COACH'S ROOMATE

CYFL thanks for the kind words to be the Head Football Coach in Victoria is a honor, thou sometimes tough. Your friendship is greatly appreciated. I remember way back when, when someone helped me. Good luck Saturday. Coach CAmpbell Your Friend
I cannot reiterate enough what CYFL Coach's Roommate stated, Jerry Campbell is one of the best! There is really nothing else you can say, especially when you know it as fact. Coach Campbell could help you in so many ways starting out. One thing I would do is to attend one of his clinics, travel if you have to. It is worth it! Or if you don't mind moving to Victoria, try to learn from the man himself by working for him. Work in his Junior High system like one of our former youth coaches, Coach Johnson is learning things at an incredible rate because Coach Campbell has him knee deep into learning the game from not only his literature and playbooks, but having watch a ton of film. I am telling you, if you want to learn from the best, try spending time with him. Good luch PreSnap! You are learning a great game!
