Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
We played a team that used portions of the jet series along with the wing-t. They used the inside trap with the fullback, ice, g scheme, cnt. crisscross, option, PA passes, wheel, and bootleg. Cumberland U. has a bunch of good information.
You can run the speed option away from the jet sweep, counter to backside out of double slot. We have run "double bubble" (I just liked the name). We would fake jet sweep and throw bubble to jet motion man we faked to, he would then through down field to SE on the side of the bubble. It is a pretty quick cathc and throw.
YES WE HAVE RUN IT THE PAST 2 YEARS AND EACH OF THOSE TWO YEARS OUR FB HAS RUSHED FOR 1800 YEARS EACH YEAR. WE REALLY HAVE COME A LONG WAY EACH TEAR AS WE REALLY PUT IT TOGETHER WITH THE INTERNET HELP AND COACH KLAUSINGS HELP
IT IS VERY EXCITED AND WE ARE TOTALLY DEDICATED TO IT
YOU REALLY DON'T NEED MANY RUNNING PLAYS AS WE BASICALLY HANG OUR HAT ON 5 RUNNING PLAYS. WE USE MANY FORMATIONS AS COVER UPS AND TO SEE HOW THE DEFENSE WILL COVER THEM
