Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
We had a total of 45, 25 on varsity and 20 on JV. I do not think the QB has to be a great passer, Can he run? IF your QB is good at one or the other I like the spread.
Yep, and made an All-State QB out of a kid that probably was not even a pre-season all-conference QB. Used simple reads and simple throws to pass for 1500 yards with 25 TDs and 4 picks and rush for 600. I would gladly discuss this offense with you just shoot me an email nate@midwestpioneers.com
Why seek advice? Seems like you did pretty darn well to me! Any spread formation is all about passing to me, but to a lot of other coaches it is about spreading the defense so they can run their ground game.
Just a word of caution, if this is the stars last year, make sure you work diligently with the rising senior or whomever is going to be the man next year. Make sure he gets a series or two THIS SEASON every game if possible. Work him with the first team, not the scrubs, during the practice week this season as much as time permits. If you can't spare enough time to let him work during practice, change your schedule so you will have enough time. THIS IS VITAL IN HIS DEVELOPMENT.
