Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
I am looking for a position specific program for my defensive linemen. I would like the following:
1. A pre-season or off season program that i could use leading up to training camp
AND
2. A program i could use to run them at the end of practice for 10 minutes or so.
I use to have both but cant seem to find either. Unfortunately they were both very good so im hoping some of you out there might be able to lend a hand. I dont care if its in electronic or print or video format. I do have a ton to trade.
My strength coach designs a position specific weight lifting and cardiovascular regimen for each player on the team, that is closely monitored by him with weekly progressss reports to me. I have always used a staggerd regimen of 10 minutes of gassers one day to finish practice and a 10 minute endurance run every other day.
In the weightroom, DL's concentrate on squats, power cleans and benching, some incline work as well. Dumbell work to enhance arm (bicep-tricep) as well as, forearm muscle groups. Special hand workouts to enhance grip! Butterflys(cutaways) for arm and pecs.
All linemen hate to run that I have ever known, but I make them run all the time!!! DL's especially have to be able to run better than ever before in todays game!!! MAKE THEM DO IT!!!

One thing I've found great for the big kids is having do simple things like jump rope. Make sure their feet can do what their heads are asking. Also simple cone/line/or dot drills are great for these kids. They will help with quickness, agility, explosiveness (make this happen by integrating squatting and lunging movements), and will also strengthen ankles to help with rolling them over. Anything that can get these kids to not only be maulers and take up space, but be athletes. They are having to do more sideline-to-sideline movement than they did 15 years ago.

There is nothing that will show a man's true character like the 2 yard line.
