To those of you who attended my clinic in Richmond last Summer, & had the pleasure of hearing Larry Zierlein speak - here is some good news. Larry is one of the finest O-Line coaches in the NFL, & one of the real "nice guys" in coaching:

ORCHARD PARK, NY – The Bills Monday announced that the team has hired Larry Zierlein (ZUR-line) as assistant offensive line coach.
Zierlein brings 35 years of total coaching experience and four years of NFL experience to Buffalo. Prior to spending the 2005 season out of football, Zierlein coached the offensive line for the Cleveland Browns from 2001-2004 where his work with the offensive line helped the Browns average 4.05 yards per rush and 104.4 rushing yards per game in 2003.
With 22 years of coaching experience in the college ranks, Zierlein most notably coached the offensive line at Cincinnati (1997-2000), Tulane (1995-96, 1988-90), Louisiana State (1993-94), and Houston (1978-86).
I had the pleasure of hearing him speak on zone blocking at a clinic about 4 years ago when he was with the Browns. He did a GREAT job and was very genuine about trying to help everyone in the room, and discussed alot of things with the youth coaches in the room especially.

Bill,
That is great news to hear about Coach Zierlein! The only time I have ever seen him speak was at your clinic but he certainly seemed like a class act.
The first player I ever put to the NFL from my professional Minor league team was a man named LEONARD LARRAMORE. He was a DT- 6'4 348 lbs- benching 655!!! The Bills signed him on the spot after we had won the 1994 Pro Bowl Game. He put on a Clinic! Head scout in our area at that time was a man Named BOB WINDISCH for the Bills. He was impressed with Leonard! Now retired from Football, Leonard travels with the BAPTIST POWER LIFTING TEAM and is benching over 700 lbs! Will always have a soft spot for the Bills!

I saw those guys perform about a year ago...Mr Larramore is indeed a monster!
By the way, didn't Larramore and a couple of other ex-NFL players file a lawsuit against the Carolina Panthers claiming they were injured at practice and were denied workman's comp benefits? Wonder what ever happened with that?
