If you are talking high school, I would recommend West Side for Skinny Bastards at Defrancostraining.com
I can give you a sample of what we might do in a week.
I would be interested at looking at your sample workout. My email is cdertz@eastland308.com. I can send you one of my templates in exchange if you are interested.
It concerns me that the WSFSB seems to be ignoring neck work, which should be a top priority for any contact sport.
Am I mising something?
For anybody using WSFSB:
Has any body added the 4-way neck and a couple sets of shrugs to the upper body days for the neck/shoulders?
I know neck work doesn't go over well with the high school kids who'd rather boast about a high bench/squat number or have big biceps to show off in their sleeveless t-shirts, but we want strong/healthy athletes not pretty/injured ones, right?
We rotate shrugs in as an auxiliary lift on Upper days, and we started this spring to include 4 way neck as well. I tell the kids to do it in between heavy (ME) sets on ME lifts.
