I've never coached a team that was exclusively spread, Coach offensiveconfusion, but I have researched it a lot this spring. It seems that teams either hang their hat on the ISV as coach Campbell stated or the zone read. Teams that perform the zone read concept also consider counter a necessity to their offense. Wish I could help more.
