This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
We are a gun team, primarly one back. This past season we ran the jet sweep, outside zone, speed option, and a wing T sweep(pulling both G's) as our outside running plays. I am looking to widdle down the playlist and would like your opinion on the best possibility and why. Would also like to keep the defense from overshifting to the back. We have never had much success running the outside zone for whatever reason. I am also looking to lose the speed option because the inside zone pull should account for a perimeter play to the backs side. Is there a good reason to keep the speed option or do you think that the I zone would be sufficent? Also what have you had success at on plays away from the back. Thanks for the help.
Keep the JETT. It forces teams to apply force quick to the motion. Play action or waggle off the jet can be effective. Jett Trap, Jett Sucker pulling your OL on an influence can also help u out.
