Coaches;

I would like to hear from anyone who has ever been involved with figuring the cost of a new football program, for a school of about 500 students. I am NOT looking for an exact figure, I would just like to get a "Ballpark" estimate.

Also, what a "YEARLY" cost for the program may run ie- re-conditioning helmets, etc.

Just went through this exercise a couple of years ago. For approximately 70 participants, the startup was between 50K and 65K. This included a couple of sleds and blocking dummies/handshields and 4 paid coaches. We even went so far as to show what the cost would be to the average taxpayer just to prove it would not force anyone out of their home due to higher taxes!
