Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
How do you calculate the hidden yardage in a game? Do you look at the return yardage? Or do you look at the net yardage of a special team? For example, do you look at the next yardage that you gain by punting the ball or just the return yards given up.
I'm having trouble quantifying this because there are some games that we did not punt the ball and some that we only had one kick return. I've started looking at beginning field position on kick returns instead of return yardage. But what about punts.
Any input would be great. Maybe the numbers just won't come out right, I don't know.
You've got the basics. Its simply your return yardage, minus the other teams return yardage. But like you said if you don't get many returns or have to punt it becomes hard to quantify.
I typically use starting field position and average yards per return to help me quantify things!
ZUCK
IF BEEMER SAYS IT, I BELIEVE IT AS THERE IS NONE BETTER IN MY BOOK WITH SPECIAL TEAMS THAN HE IS AND THAT INCLUDES THE NFL GUYS! Just my opinion as always.
