Option: Under or Gun?

I prefer to run it under center, because there is a greater risk of snapping issues with the shotgun; however, running the veer out of the gun will help your passing game, because it will give the Quarterback a little bit more time to throw the ball. It is a tough call, no doubt.

Being a conservative by heart, I must say under center.

Since we / I am just using the triple option for the first time this year, I like under center much better. However, we do run some shotgun stuff, and it has been very good for us. I love having my QB back there and ready to throw / see the field immediately. If you can run it effectively from the gun, I think the option would complement your passing game better.
Can you run outside veer from the gun?
