I read all the other posts in regards to stopping veer in the stack but I am curious if anyone has new ideas? Coach Campbell or Coach Rice please feel free to reply and let me know....
We have some ideas but we want to hear yours - the more ideas the better....

With the stack the 3 man game on the edge and the change ups can make running the veer tough especially towards the tight end in a proset. Coach CAmpbell
If you can control the donwblock from the OT's and hold the POA with your DE's you can give a veer offense fits. The OT's are the key. We used the stack to shut down a veer team last season, which is my favorite offense. Admittedly, though, I don't think the QB was reading things--I am pretty sure things were called. Even so, our DE's did a great job blowing up the OT's and making the QB bend his path. We made the DE's man responsible, not gap responsible. Their only job on non-passing situations was to attack the OT with everything they had, keep him off the LB's and do not let him get any sort of surge.
