What are the best was to defend a one back bunch from an odd front (i.e. 3-4/52, not 3-3)?
In particular defending the toss to the bunch side (two down blockers, slot and OT pull around).
As well, the counter and naked away from the bunch.
Is a combo coverage best like against trips: have theLB press align against the point and play the flats with the corner and safetly taking inside outside zone and manned up on the weak side against the TE or lone receivers?
Looking for ways to matchup against this formation.
The OLB to that side will collision the number 2 receiver, and work to the flat..the corner to that side has the deepest vertical release is his area...and the free is looking for any vertical between the hashes....your inside backer to the strength will reinforce containment if the offense is sprinting out..your backside inside backer rotates to replace the playside backer.....:music;
