someone give a simple discription of what plays Navy runs as part of their base offense. I know they run midline, inside veer, rocket toss, and trap/counter option...what else is there?
"It's like novocain. Just give it time, it always works!"
Midline, Inside Veer, Counteroption, and Rocket Toss is 85 percent of their offense, Rhode Island's offense, Bucknell's offense. An offensive coach at Rhode Island told me that a high school offense only needs those four run plays to succeed. The head coach at Rhode Island, Tim Stowers, was Paul Johnson's head coach at Georgia Southern when Paul was an assistant there.

HEY REMEMBER TRAP AND ZONE DIVE. I THINK STOWERS COACHING THE SPREAD OFFENSE ONLY HAS 5 PLAYS IN THE RUNNING GAME INCLUDING AS SPEED DOUBLE OPTION BUT NO MIDLINE AT THAT TIME.
