Coaches,
As a program we are going to be running a considerable amount of option this year (our base stuff will be ISV and OSV). We are transitioning from a doubelwing/wing-t style of offense. I'm not very knowledgeable about the option and would like some of your suggestions on where to start (obviously reading through these threads has been a big help). I'm looking for a manual/book/DVD that:
Breaks down the ISV and OSV blocking assignments into rules (i.e. for other offenses, gap, on, down).
Specifically I'm looking for material that discusses veer blocking vs. different fronts (we will not be running any zone run plays)
Lastly I'm looking for something that discusses the installation of the ISV/OSV, numbering of defenders, paths, etc.
I realize that their are lots of great manuals/books/DVD's out their, I would like your input on finding the materials that best fit my needs at this time. Thanks.
