I am from the Allentown area, and was planning to go to the SVS Clinic in Lancaster where the OC from Bucknell is speaking. Fisher DeBerry is speaking at the Nike Clinic in Allentown, but I don't know if he is still doing his speaking engagements due to his retirement. Thanks guys for all of your responses. Deter I'll see what I can do. I'm not great a taking notes, but I will give you what I get. Don't worry about trading anything. Coach deter I know Wofford College is having a Clinic during their Spring ball Practice. That is in South Carolina a little closer. The great thing about that is you can see them teaching and drilling.

On a side note has anyone been watching the NFL networks Road to the Draft? It is show the pro Coaches going through Position drills with the College guys getting ready for the Senior Bowl. It is great Stuff!!! I even saw some drills that I use in practice.

Karjaw, would you change your offense based on what kids you have year after year? Example one year Flexbone (AFA or Navy style) the next year Shotgun Spread (Texas Tech or Hawaii style).

I will be at the Nike Clinic and our head coach is one of the speakers. Having been to the Nike Clinic in the past, I doubt that Coach DeBerry will get into great detail about the triple option. He will spend the majority of the time speaking about his career and his experiences. The details that you are looking for may be few and far between. Of course, this conversation is moot pending he kept his engagement. Make sure you look for me at the Nike Clinic. I will be there the whole time.

I know Coach Ingram pretty well. We played Bucknell this year and beat them 28-0. I was at their spring clinic. Their tight end (they only have three on the roster because they only use tight ends in certain situations) attended the high school at which I work. I was at two of their games this year with the family of the young man I previously mentioned. In addition, I have seen Coach Ingram speak in person. He is phenomenal!

My recommendation to you is to go and attend Bucknell's spring clinic which will be the first or second weekend in April. Easter falls on the first week, so I would imagine that this would occur on the second week. They have their spring clinic on the same day as their spring game. The game is held at night. Visiting coaches are allowed on the field during the game.

If you Email Coach Ingram at his office, jai007@bucknell.edu, he would probably have you come out and spend the day with him. Going out to Bucknell to eat at the cafeteria is worth the trip itself! It is the best college cafeteria in western civilization. HE RUNS THE TRIPLE THE SAME AS NAVY--VERBATIM! Coach Ingram coached with Tim Stowers at Rhode Island, who taught the triple option to Paul Johnson. They run the same four core plays: Triple, Midline, Quick Pitch, and Counteroption. Everything else they do is "window dressing," which is a term that was told to me by Rhode Island's current slot back coach the day he attended one of our bowl week practices.

Rocket toss is the wing back going in motion full speed at the FB's rear end and the Qb snapping it when he loses sight of the wing back. He then reverses out and pitches the ball to the wing back moving full speed. THe goal is for the back to catch the ball at the playside tackle. The theory is that you do not have to block anyone from Cgap and in. Sometimes that is a stretch but definitely from Bgap and in like Jet sweep.
