That is great news about your health. As soon as I heard what had happened, I had no doubt that you would be up and running again. It is VERY amazing and encouraging to witness the Lord's power in action, isn't it? I'm very happy to hear that you are doing well, Coach. I know you've heard this a hundred times before from others on this site, but you have been very instrumental in many of these coach's lives (mine DEFINTITELY included)...not only from a football standpoint, but (more importantly), from a spiritual standpoint...and I thank you again for that! I will tell the family you said hey...My wife knows all about you and how much you have helped me.

As for the option...we are a Wing-T team, but we are trying to establish the option more this season. We ran midline with some success last year, and our IV can be successful if we can rep it more in practice. If I ever make it to be a HC, my plans are to run the flexbone option and to compliment it with Wing-T plays. That is probably in the very distant future though, as I am still VERY green as far 'on the field' coaching goes. I am learning from an outstanding and very talented HC though, and I am thankful to be a part of a staff with such knowledgable assistants too. They are all very bright and hungry to win. God definitely put me in the right place to get started, and I hope to be here for a while!
