Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
Can someone explain this to me, or show me an old post with the explanation of it. I have been a "Ride and decide" guy, but want to look at this to see if it would be better for me. Thanks
I have posted a ton on the point method here on the board. Most of it you will find under INSTALLING THE OPTION FROM UNDER CENTER archives. I would love to have you call me at 864-353-9654 and I can cover a whole lot more expediently on the phone than all this typing.

How is it a coach like yourself wants to learn about the point method, but really must not care enough about learning about it as it would appear that the investment ina phone call is too much to ask. I get lots of calls from coaches all over the country and the world really, but also get lots of inquiries about all facets of the game and when I ask them to give me a call to disuss their question in a much more expedient manner than a whole lot of typing they are never heard from again. Was just wondering what exactly turns you guys off about making a phone call? In speaking with the seasoned coaches here on the board, they too experience the same thing. Was just wondering if you could give us some insight?
I am certainly not trying to be unduly hard on anyone, just genuinely seeking an answer.

Is there any way I can get some cutups or game film of people running the option in a game with the point method, or practice time working on the point? I would really like to see it done. It seems nobody is ever willing to share this stuff. Maybe it is too much trouble?
I can't speak for people who don't call you, but I would much rather get a chance to see it through diagrams, etc and read it (for future reference so it can all settle in.) Also, you have posted enough about the point to understand it in detail. Maybe packattack just read up as you guys suggested.
HIt the search button above. Type in the word point for a phrase and choose "installing the option from under center" as the category to search from. There will be several different topics that cover the point or the point vs the ride and decide. Hope that helps.
Coach, thank you for your post and phone number; I will call you soon. With all due respect to you; my sister, who is in the air force, has just left for Iraq this week and will be there for many months; she is on one of the hospital airplanes that come under fire everyday. My family and I have been trying to spend as much time with her as possible since your post! My profession will always come after my family. I look forward to taking to you more about the point method. Believe me, I am very interested in learning more about this, but certain circumstances have pushed it back a little. Thanks

Enough said for sure. I can certainly understand mitigating circumstances like yours and am asking you to please accept my apology if it appeared I was coming on too strongly. Was sincerely just trying to figure out an answer as to why the topic being discussed is so prevelant. Looking forward to speaking with you at your discretion, call anytime.
