Special Teams
This video is outstanding. Coach Beamer and his staff demonstrate place kicking, punting, punt return, long and short snapping, blocking field goals and punts, kick-off return, and kick-off coverage. The most comprehensive special teams video I have seen. Running Time: 71 Minutes.

There is also an Iowa State series that is available on championshipproductions.com that is helpful. My only problem with the spread punt is that it requires the snapper to block and I would prefer him to worry only about getting back a perfect snap.
Is anybody on this board currently using spread punt at the high school level? If someone could help me out on blocking rules I would appreciate it. I have read a little about man and zone schemes and even some college teams that combo the schemes. We are a flexbone team and would like to stay in our base formation and have rugby capability as well. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I've used a Spread Punt or Double Slot Punt for years. We've used a Zone Based protection with man principles. In other words everyone has gap to a man. The Snapper has #1 to the called side and then everyone else works off that on the side we are zoning too.
In other words you work your gap to your man' C=#1, G=#2, T=#3 Wing=#4. Now backside you can full zone as if running Inside Zone and have the Upback take the o/s man or do it like the pro teams and send the upback to #1 on the B/S side and have the G,T, Wg, block 2,3,& 4 respectively so they are always blocking the same potential rusher.
