I'm looking for a little info. We're a one-gap defense with our DL aligned with their covered hand down. Assuming the player doesn't have a problem with either the right or left handed stance, would you ever want to switch the stance when executing a line stunt?
If the stance is switched only to execute a stunt, this would tip the o-lineman as to when your were stunting....The best thing about a stunt is the element of surprise...
We switch hands with the thought that O-linemen have too many other things going on to pick up on it. That being said, we tend to stem our front quite a bit and O-linemen are preoccupied making calls.
