thanks for the earlier reply to the defensive end drills question i posted, i am very interested in the drill you described and i am looking for some details. we also play our de's in a 2 point stance, what are some of his keys in your system for the de? do you play them head up or outside shade? i more discussion would be great, let me know if email would be easier? thanks
I am also looking for defensive end drills. We feel this is the toughest position to get consistent play out of. Please post some drills for the position.
Sorry I have not got back to you. Our staff went to the Vegas Clinic to see Coach Campbell. Our defensive ends play mostly outside shade. We play a yard outside and about a yard deep. We key the TE or Tackles Hip. If the TE looks to block out on us we rip right now. If he blocks down we attack him and then outside rip any blocker trying to kick us out. On pass we either make a move or drop. We also play our end inside shade of TE, he gets into a 3 point stance. One of our D-ends stays up, he's good at it so we let him. We get inside shade when we play teams that like to run power, counter etc.. On the d-line video I have all of the drills we use every day. If you want to talk any drills let me know. PGOLLA
