Ill do my best to convey the questions as best I can recollect.
First of all there were 14 questions, 8 people on the committee and 45 minutes to interview.
Dont quote me on the order of these either.
1. Why do you want to be the head football coach at school X?
2. Define success individually for your frosh,jv and varsity programs. This honestly may have been asked twice in two similar forms. I believe it was, they just reworded it a little differently.
3. Tell us how your offseason strength and speed program will work.
4. How will you handle player discipline?
5. What are the three most important criteria you look for in a player?
6. How will you handle issues with parents?
7. What qualities do you seek in assistant coaches, and how will they be handled?
8. Explain your coaching philosophy.
9. Dont quote me on this one, but I believe there was a question in there which basically was "Why should we hire you?"
10. Surprisingly - "What system are you going to use on offense and defense?" I really didnt think this would be asked.
11. What is your philosophy on playing time.
