Coach for one I would love to play a team that gives a 1 to a 7 tech. I can't think you will see much of this but lets block it anyway. This play because of 6 guys towards the play will all come over one man. You would get a trey out by the tackle and tight end and then each man from there back would come over to the nearest ear play side with the quarterback booting the backside end. Coach CAmpbell
If the backside OG has to base the 1 tech by himself, won't the RB have to cut the play back behind his block to make the play work? I would think that backside 1 tech would blow the play up if the RB tries to run off the playside OG. He would have to cut it back behind the base block on the 1 tech right?

Coach H hopefully your backside guard will be in a position to L-step his down block on the backside 1 tech. But if you feel you can't handle this then the best plays vs a double 1 tech scheme is inside veer and load option, If you don't run either of those then run the ISO at them. Coach CAmpbell
What about running a counter trap to the weakside of an 11 defense? Pull the strongside OG and TE, who is slotted. So, you would have the strongside OT gap the strong 7, Center gap the strongside 1, weak OG gap the 1 tech, OT release out for the Mike LB. OG pulls and traps the weak 5 and TE pulls and leads up on the Will LB.

Coach this would work just make sure that the backside tackle goes up an on the backside Lber. That would work 2nd puller through would have the outside invert playside. Coach CAmpbell
