Drills for Safeties

Put receivers on each edge of his half & have them run ups (go routes) to a depth of 20 yds. He is in the middle of his half & must overlap on the ball to either side (overlap with the opposite safety to his inside, & the boundary to his outside). He starts off 12-14 yds deep (getting depth on the snap), & receivers start out on the LOS. This is what has been known in football as a "Confidence Drill" forever.
