Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
With all the new Spread and Fun & Gun offenses sprouting up out in High School the play that seems to continue to be a tough play to stop and prepare for are the Screens. All kinds i.e. Bubble Screens to the Slots and Flankers, Middle Screens to the RB and Y, and all that apply to the spread. My question is simple, " How do you prepare, other then formation tendency, and how to you stop it other then good tackling and getting off the blocks?
I'm sure I'm not the first to ask but I think I maybe the first to ask out loud.

From a conventional running formation, and not our 3 x 2, we often anticipate a blitz on the opening play of the game and will run a screen. Screens and sprint draws still are the best way to beat a blitz from a conventional formation in my opinion. If you can successfully run the screen game, you will soon discourage a blitzing team!
