can someone explain the count system that navy is using. I have seen many people on here refer to it, but not real sure exactly how to go about doing this. thanks in advance
I believe Navy starts the count from the 1st DL from the B-gap out (3-tech not included in the count). This player is the dive key on inside veer (ISV). #2 is the first defender stacked behind (or outside) #1. He is the pitch key on ISV (unless a "load" scheme is used). #3 is the next defender stacked or outside #2 within 5 yards of the LOS. This is the danger player for Navy (if I recall correctly). The QB is trained to audible away from a 3-count.
I'm sure that I'm not completely accurate. Hopefully, together we can get you the complete count system that Navy uses.
