Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
We play a team in the quarterfinals this week that runs shotgun oneback with very wide Inverted slots. The slots are fairly tight togeather.
They run ISO, Sweep, Option and pass out of it. In a normal double slot we will play a 3-4 cover 2 or walk the spurs out on the slots still playing cover 2. With the width that really spreads us out. Does anybody have any ideas or played against something similar. We also will play cover 3 jam on normal slots.

we played against something like that 2 weeks ago...we had some success going cover 0 to the short side of the field, and playing zone to the wide side...we put the corner up in the face of the #1 receiver to the zone side and sometimes had him bail to play 10 and under while our free played over the top...when we did this we blitzed that spur off the edge to give some immediate run support...we also slanted to the short side of the field to help with run to that side because of the spur being in cover 0...we let our pursuit run everything down to that side...
