This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
What you ask is difficult to type in a reply in sufficient DETAIL. If it's important enough to you - email me. I already have that typed up & diagrammed (from coaches like Jimmy Johnson when he was at Dallas, Butch Davis when he was at U ofMiami, & the Chicago Bears), & will be happy to forward it to you.
I would like to keep this thread going a little more.
As I'm understanding things, if I'm a corner and read #1 releasing inside I'm going to check #2. If #2 does not enter my zone either, at what point will I start squeezing the field and where do the eyes go next? Let's make this both a 2x2 situation and a 3x1 open situation.
vs. 2X2 and 3X1 we check "White" and we are getting vertical at the snap. We are done pattern reading... we are playing 4 deep with the mike running up the middle and the will/sam covering curl to flat. You can never be outnumbered deep!
