Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
We recently had our head coach resign. We are only 5 year old program and have never won more than 3 games in a season. We are a growing school with the desire to change to a winning program. We have the athletes just need a person to help the assist the harvesting of it. We are in Des Moines, Iowa in one of the fasted growing counties in America. I am an assistant coach that is not ready to take over plus going into National Guard.
My question would be how to get that out and what should we ask to find the right fit?
It sounds like you care about the program and are very concerned and watching it grow. Team up with your AD and challenge him to call a few quality coaches and see what he can do to persuade them to come to your program. For a while, schools have been doing "the grand committee" interview process and in my opinion, those committees are not the best way to find a coach. Your AD needs to make calls and attract the right candidate. Good luck.
These search committee's have become a real joke, having players, assistant coaches, etc. on them, all whom have their own agendas and then expect the HC to work with them.
GCTIGERS has just given some good sound advice.

I agree about "the grand committee" interview process. I believe the search for a head coach should be left up to a very select number of individuals who possess the knowledge needed to make a sound decision that is in the best interest of the PROGRAM!
