Notes: Make power point in the school colors of the school you are applying at....... Also have their logo somwhere in the presentation.
1-Opening slide with your name in big letters
-your coaching motto in smaller letters
-your best credential (i.e. overall record, years coaching, how far the last team you coached for went in the playoffs)... something like this.
- your picture (preferably coaching during game/practice)
-2-Second slide- Coaching Experience:
-All positions held, records, responsibilities
-Coaches you've worked under
-Players you've coached
3- Playing Experience/Education
-Played ___ years in hs/college
-Awards won, any other honors
-Bachelors degree from ______ in _____. Gradauation year
-Teaching certifications held
4- MOST IMPORTANT: Plan for ______ High School
-Build players character
-Forcus on fundamentals
-Install offseason program to gain strength and conditioning
-Change attitudes
-Win district/win state!

6- YOUR COACHING PHILOSOPHY
-Plan to run 4-3 defense and spread offense
-Players Coach/Disciplinarian?
-Agressive/Bend but don't break?
7- VIDEO CLIP OF YOUR OLD SCHOOL PLAYING
-Scan picture of play shown on video and put it on your power point in this slide. Explain the play, what's going on, etc..
8- OTHER SPORTS
-Your plan for improving the other sports in the athletic department
-Explain how and why you care about other sports. Talk about any success you've had if you have coached another sports, or if you have been an AD before talk about the success of the girls sports at your school.
9- FAMILY/PERSONAL LIFE
-If you have family talk about your wife and kids and how you are a 'family man' with traditional values
-If you don't have kids then talk about how the players 'are your kids' and all your time is dedicated to them.
-If you have family in the area that has a connection to the job
-Include any other information you want to hear
10- CONCLUSION
-Summarize points
-Add any info here that will make a lasting impression on the decision makers
