Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
I am a 12 & Under Youth coach and have been coaching that age group for 7 yrs. The last 4 yrs I have been HC at two seperate programs and took all 4 teams to the championship and won the last two in a row at my current program. I don't feel that I have anything else to prove to myself at this level b/c I have done this at the worst program in the league and started the program I am at now from scratch. What advice do you have for me getting into coaching at the Middle School Level or High School Level? I live in the Up-State of South Carolina and really like the area and my record as a head coach over the last 4yrs is 38-7 and the last 2 yrs I am 20-1.

Coach I would go and speak with your local head high school coach and explain to him your intentions with the desire to move up. I know I would appreciate it if one of my youth coaches were to come and express their desire to move up into our programs. It is a win, win for everyone, especially if your head high school coach supports your youth program. Coach Campbell

Thanks for your appreciation Coach Campbell. Maybe I should move to your area. (HA HA) I am currently trying to talk to one of the High School coaches that my program mainly feeds but he is not a "big fan" of youth coaches. My only in is that some of his assistant coaches have worked with me and respect what I am doing and how I go about running my teams. I also have sent out e-mails to other coaches not in my town just to see if they respond. Thanks again for the advice!!
I agree with Coach Campbell. I actually had an opening on my staff last season and asked one of our Youth Football coaches who I knew had played in our offensive sytem before and supported what we were doing. He didn't have the afterschool hours to be able to coach, but he was one of my first choices. If you have the hours that you can work at the HS or middle school level, then definitely get your resume out and speak to some area coaches. I would also like someone knocking on my door or calling me telling me they are interested in coaching at our level and have had success before.
