I've got quite a few returning this year coach so we should look pretty good... on paper!!!

I think we'll be "in the hunt" if I can develop one of my returning kids as a QB. Good athlete who played the sport for the first time last season, but was just a little intimidated to play the position, even as a backup last season. Kids usually become much more confident and comfortable playing the game between their 5th and 6th grade years though, so I'm optimistic we can bring him along the right way as his confidence grows.

I'm planning on attending Coach Slack's camp in Dallas this summer with a few of our local kids (at various age levels) to help me become a better coach in teaching the position. I've been fortunate enough to have worked around Coach Lansdell a couple of times and am very much looking forward to learning everything I can from Coach Slack and his staff. Then I'm off to try to my own hand at working with some local youth QBs this summer, first in a camp setting with some local high school and middle school coaches and then on a weekly basis throughout the rest of the summer.

Can't wait to get started! I'm also really looking forward to getting ahold of a copy of your book too!
