Saw an earlier post about this, but I'm looking for WR alignment rules specifically using the high school field landmarks. I took notes at a clinic once years back but can't find them (naturally). Looking for "if ball is on a hash, field WR aligns opposite hash+2" type of thing, not sure if anyone here uses the hash and/or numbers for consistent alignments rather than estimating yardage?
Lot's of guys still use land marks for alignment (hash, yd markers, etc.) In my 3 x 2 this becomes critical
as with 5 receivers in every pattern, you can't afford to line up wrong. The ones we really concentrate extra hard on when installing new receivers is the "alley" distance in which to operate on the side lines. But, we operate from 3 different splits (regular, close, wide) with our receiver's and alignment is crucial to each. We use the hash marks alot, plus a specific number of STEPS until it becomes second nature to the guys on where to properly align.
