Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
The A-11 offense is a joke . . . I actually heard that they are going to outlaw it . . . We saw it once and a tough defense will totatlly shut it down.
I don't know much about the A-11, but I know we ran a spread punt formation much like this years ago and the QB/punter audibles to the left, middle, or right. The offense then moves receivers on or off the line, so you don't really know who is going to be eligible. Then of course we had an answer to the "blitz the middle" concept by either releasing middle guys or screens.
This was limited in its capabilities because it was special teams, but we could see the potential of a crazy offense coming out of it. Old timers might remember the "Lonesome Polecat."
