Coaches,

What do want from your coaches upstairs on game day?

Here are a few things to get us started:

Offense:

-note coverage shown and coverage played
-alignment of DTs
-watch backside contain player

Defense:

-formation
-splits of WRs
-have down and distance tendencies from scouting handy
-track down, distance and formation tendencies during game

General:

-keep track of timeouts for both teams
-have 2 point conversion chart handy

Substitutions from the other side! We played a team that would substitute their center when they went to the shotgun. Once he came in we sent it down, and our nickel package came in. I also like to hear as the game wears on is anything they can pick up on body language from the other team. A bit subjective, but where can I attack, and what is causing stress on the opposite sideline.

I am a bit of a control freak, so I dont leave too much for those guys to do. I have them check presonell groupsings, like everyone mentioned. I usually will give one coach the secondary and LBs and the other the DL and see who on my d is getting beat or weak or not doing what they are supposed to.

Most of the tendencies and game stuff I handle myself on the field.

I also would like to know what coaches are in the booth communicating to who and what coaches are on the ground.
