Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
I coach at a small school and we normally have 15 seniors on our roster. Five never come off of the field and six never touch the field. Every year I try to put in a special package, about three or four plays, that all of the players that normally do not play can go in and do together. I would take the kids that never come off the field out for this special series. I will keep someone in if no one else can do what we need to do. Our senior class is linemen heavy, three very good and two that have never played before and have trouble getting out of their stance. In the past we have done the single wing, a triple pass, lots of wierd formations.
My question is if anyone has any ideas for something new? Any special plays or formations that can freak a team out?
Excellent Choice.

Overload one side of the ball like crazy. From there have a run or two toward the overload, a simple pass, and maybe, if you have the time, a counter, or boot away from the overload. Don't get too wild with it, though. One possibility...

If you're QB is used to being in the gun, you can put even more men to the overload.

There is nothing that will show a man's true character like the 2 yard line.
