I just heard one of the best lines on coaching that I've heard in a while from Lou Holtz...

"I finish 2nd in the nation, and they call me an idiot. A guy finishes last in his clas in medical school, and they call him doctor."

And so goes coaching!

You should read Jason Peter's book Hero of the Underground. He mentions a story about his younger brother Damien who was committed to ND but becomes paralyzed through an accident. Lou didn't make one attempt to contact/help him. Ended up going to Nebraska when Tom Osborne invited him there. Changed my perception of Lou every time i see him on tv. GO BIG RED!!!!!
