defending a well run bucksweep?

False keys makes it tough. Have played some Wing T with false Guard Keys but usually it is not enough to present a problem and change the game plan.

Against Wing T we will play some 5 man and 4 man front with either 1 middle backer(5 Man) or 2 Inside(4 Man). We will play with 2 Outside Backers and play 3 deep Zone. Our answer to any sweep is to Crash Blitz the Outside Backer(Give Up Flat and Curl) into the C or B gap and Jet or Box the DE and he has contain. We will stem to a Jet(DE 1 Yard Wide-Pinning His Ears Back and Going-Shut it Down at a Yard Depth and Take on Guard vs. Buck Sweep/FB vs. I Sweep) or have the DE line up on Tackle or Tight End then Box Out(2 Steps Out and 2 Steps into Backfied). This way they can not read our alignment as easily and check and turn out and run inside.

Another Look is to align the End in a Jet(Tighten His Alignment) and then sink(Jet Sink) him back into the inside gap and bring the Outside Backer off the Edge to Contain.

You are gambling and bringing 6 or 7 but if they are consistenly running Sweep and you guess right you are good to go.
