Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
I am looking to run two, five day camps for offensive linemen this summer. I can have up to seven players (cleats, helmets, and footballs) and two hours per day to work.
What things would you look to accomplish? I am looking at stance, firing out, draw & shooting of the 'pistols', footwork and aiming points (we run a zone concept offense), tug of war with a towel to develop hand strength, and conditioning.
What other thoughts or experiences have you had?
Thanks for your time.

All those are great, but I'd also add in, if possible dummy work, various agility drills, plyometrics. If you can find some 2x8's or 2x10's and have them work on keeping their feet wide as they drive down the length of the board. A few other great lineman drills are
"Battle of Baghdad" which involves a 5yd x 5yd square, three offensive players (QB, and two linemen) and one defensive player. Rules are, one OL and the DL line up on one of the box lines. Other OL is stacked behind and the QB is behind him. On "go", snap of ball, etc. the DL wants to tag the QB. OL is there to block him--pass block style. If the DL beats the first man, the second man can engage, but a double-team is against the rules and is an automatic win for the DL. QB can move within the square, but can't go out of it. DL wins if he tags the QB in time, forces a double-team, is held, or forces the QB out of the box. OL wins if they keep the DL off the QB for the allotted time. A great drill, and the kids go nuts for it!
Also, try the towel pull with three men. One on each end of the towel and one in the middle. The three are trying to pull straight back to a cone 2-3 yds behind them. Whoever touches their cone first wins! Do it tournement style and find out which "dog has the biggest fight in them!"

There is nothing that will show a man's true character like the 2 yard line.
