In the past we have been lined up in our front when the Offense has gotten to the line. I have seen a lot of teams lately begin to stem their front pre-snap. I was just looking for ideas on how everyone stems their front and teaches stemming their front to their players.
Stemming is fine as long as there is no question that your players know their responsibility and can correctly align 100% of the time after the stem, in my opinion. They also have to be able to defend things out of a pre-stem alignment in case of quick snaps.

There is nothing that will show a man's true character like the 2 yard line.

The only time i would get into stemming would be when facing a team that runs no huddle where the QB is making the playcall at the line of scrimmage. Other than that the numerous slants by the defensive line combined with the constant pre snap movement by the linebackers should supply enough confusion. Line up and punch someone in the mouth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
