Coach an Under defense is like an eagled front, with the under front you will have a 9 tech on the tight end a 5 tech on the tackle a 1tech on the center and then a backside 3 and 5. The over front gives you a 7 tech on the tight end a 3 tech on the guard a backside 1 and 5 tech away from the tight end. Coach CAmpbell
Perfect! Thanks for taking the time to anwser my post, Coach Campbell.
If you don't mind answering another related question, when would a 43 team use an over vs an under front? I guess part of the question would be what is the advantage in having the SAM walked up over the TE in the under as apposed to off the LOS and the DE over the TE?

Coach with the 4-3 scheme and I'm talking about defending the run game. The 4-3 gives it a soft spot in the "C" gap area whereas the 13 tight as I call it makes running in that area a little harder thus making the ball cut backside. Coach CAmpbell
