Coach with the bounce you would get a trey block by the tackle and tight end which will probably put the tackle working up and onto the "C" gap linebacker. You would get a reach by the guard on the 3 tech. This play will either hit in "C" gap or bounce behind the stretch of the 3 technique. Coach CAmpbell

Coach whenever running bounce vs a 3 to a 7 tech. then the ball will bounce outside. If faced with a 9 tech hard on the LOS then look for the ball to head inside. Coach CAmpbell

Coach the fullback would head inside the stretch of the 9 tech. This play almost turns into an inside ISO play. The guard would use circle the wagons footwork or in other words drop step the 3 tech. Coach CAmpbell
Ok so vs. a 3 and 9 strong running the bounce The tightend and tackle will trey the 9 with the tackle going to the sam backer, the guard will reach the 3 the full back will get the Middle backer , the back will run insdie the 9 tech.
vs. a 3 and 7 strong the tackle and tight end will trey the 7 to the sam backer the guard will reach the three and the full back will go for the mike. because the trey can seal the 7 tech. the back will go ouside. Do I have this right?

Joe what you probably in a real world will get is a stretch on the 9 tech as he is probably responsible for contain so as the tight end trys to reach the 9 technique the 9 technique stretches thus the play cuts inside. I help install and work this play at most NFL and college combines I work and each and every coach will tell you that when faced with a 9 technique the play is going to bounce inside instead of outside thats where it gets its name if you get the 9 tech. This play is best run vs 7 techniques. If faced with a 9 there are much better plays to be running. The path of your fullback is determined by the reaction of the defensive end. The play starts inside to hold the LBers and then bounces out, if it can't bounce out then it stays inside with the tailback following his fullback. Coach CAmpbell
We block it just the way you described, Joe. We have had great success getting the 9 hooked, and even getting a 5 hooked on the weak side or out of 4 wide.
We teach our tackle to shoot on the outside number. When he gets his head across, then he turns his butt.
We teach it the same way with a TE against a 50. If we get a 3 and a 9 we crossover rip with the TE and pull and overtake with the OT. We've had great success with it this way.
