Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
Another thing you can do is drop the DE and into the slant areas and bring the OSLB's up...a kind of Zone Blitz. We Played a team with a great Safety who played off the LOS (inside the 15) and killed us by moving up into the slant area just as the WR released. He was always on the Number 1.
imho the 20 still gives them 30 yards of space but inside the 10 definately. Adjust to take away the slant and force that "Touch Fade". Make that fade even harder by putting a taller DB on the outside receivers.
Its not about how much YOU know about the game, its about how much you share that knowledge with the people around you.

In the redzone no matter which covereage you better stay in front of the receiver instread of behind like you might do out in the open field. Coach Campbell
We play all coverages with inside leverage)unless WR is close to core of formation). We also play a ton of man-free; so we are used to playing man. We use a 10-yardline rule. When the ball is on the opponent's plus 10, the DB aligns half the distance. If ball is on +9, DB will align 5 off WR; if ball is on +6, DB will align 3yards off WR. This has been good for us.
Cover 0 - straight man, hard man
Cover 5 - 1/5 zone
Flow - Rotational man depending on the flow of the backs.
3 backs: Cover 0 or Flow depending on the formation. any double width is 0, all DT is flow.
2 backs: Cover 0
1 back: Cover 0 or Cover 5. Cover 5 is corners, FS, and both OLBs dropping into 1/5ths. Both inside backers play the run
0 backs: Cover 5. Under center is a Rip call to the line, Shotgun is a "Longhorn" call to TEX EX the line and the two inside backers play the QB.
We do have game planning changes but these are our base calls in goaline.
